"Come like a flood and saturate me now, you're all I want." - Planetshakers
Harp Of Glory
Jesus our hope always

Your goodness supersedes my sin.
Your grace covers my every mistake.
Your love reaches the ugly parts of me.

Matthew 5:14-16

14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
In the image above, what stood out to you? Exactly the light! The Bible tells us that as Christians, we are the light of the world. In Matthew 5:13 it says that “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.” In other words, as Christians, conforming to this world is not apart of us. If we do, we are as good as nothing.

We have to stand out, just like that light. To be that light, we have to live our lives like Christ, not like a Christian, but like Christ! Through the way we show love to people, in our conversations, and in the way the way we live (1 Timothy 4:12). Why shouldn’t we conform to this world? Well, turn off that light and see what happens…

If you’re trying to avoid being referred to as “the kid that always talks about Jesus,” you’re missing it. If people see you and the first thing that comes to mind is “Jesus,” you’re getting it right.
